St Mark's Calisthenics Spring Clean their way to Success
St Mark's Calisthenics almost doubled their last collection on their most recent Closet Cleanout drive, with a collection weighing in at 1,130kg. This is the biggest collection we've seen this year so far!
Fundraising Coordinator, Sarah said the timing may have contributed to their success this time round. Running a drive in Spring means many are likely to donate winter jackets, bedding and other bulky items. She also mentioned that members of the club have loved participating in Closet Cleanout and it has been great not having to ask people to contribute anything financially. "It is by far the easiest fundraiser that we have done, and I think people love the thought of donating items to a worthy cause" she finished.
St Mark's Calisthenics should be extremely proud of their efforts. Not only have they raised much needed funds for their club, but they have helped support Red Nose research and services and provide employment and affordable clothing to those in need.
